RC Dance was founded with a simple belief: dance has the power to connect people across cultures, generations and backgrounds.


We are passionate about preserving and sharing the beauty of Chinese dance while creating opportunities for cultural exchange and artistic growth within the UK. Through movement, storytelling and performance, we encourage our students to build confidence, develop creativity and form meaningful connections with others.


More than a dance school, RC Dance is a community where tradition meets innovation, and where every individual is supported in discovering their own artistic journey.

Led by artists from prestigious institutions such as the Beijing Dance Academy ,Roehampton University and London Contemporary Dance School, our passionate team brings decades of combined expertise in Chinese dance education and performance. Together, we are dedicated to fostering artistic excellence, cultural dialogue, and an inclusive community in the UK.

  • Founder & CEO

    Founder of RC Dance, with a background in Art Education. She has always believed that beauty doesn’t only exist on canvas — it also lives in the rhythm of movement and the grace of being.

    RC Dance was founded with a simple vision, to make dance a form of artistic education — a way to explore culture, emotion, and inner strength through movement.

    As part of our art school, RC Dance is more than a studio. it’s a space that nurtures elegance, confidence, and self-expression. I hope everyone who steps into this space will learn not only how to dance, but how to Dance Into Your Best Self.

  • Chinese Dance Teacher

    Lisha Lin is a classically trained dance artist and educator specializing in traditional Chinese dance, ethnic and folk dance forms, choreography, and performance pedagogy. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dance and Practice from Nanjing University of the Arts and later completed her Master’s degree in Dance Practice and Performance at Roehampton University, London, where she further refined her artistic research and contemporary performance language.

    As both a performer and an award-winning instructor, Lisha has participated in notable stage productions and cultural galas, including featured performances in ‘Duo Mie’ at Nanjing University and the large-scale dance drama ‘Song of Youth’. She has received recognition in major regional competitions, including the East China Six-Province Dance Competition (2nd Prize) and the National Vocational College Technical Skills Competition (3rd Prize).

    In her teaching career, she has led students to national and provincial awards and is recognized for enhancing their technical precision, artistic confidence, and stage presence. Her pedagogy blends classical foundation with cultural narrative, creating a learning experience that is both disciplined and creatively expressive.

    She has performed in numerous national-level cultural galas, including Taoli Cup showcases (China’s most prestigious youth dance platform) and televised dance festival productions. She has also achieved First and Second Place in the Beijing Municipal Dance Competition.

    Specialising in body rhythm, water sleeve techniques, and Han-Tang style dance, Boye combines precise control of movement details with a lively and interactive teaching style. Her classes are known for being both professional and engaging, blending rigorous technique with inspiring instruction.

  • Operations & HR Administration Lead

    She has extensive experience in human resources and operations, having held HR management roles in listed companies and leading education organisations. At RC Meridian Education, she oversees recruitment, compliance, administration, and daily operations.

  • Chinese Dance Teacher

    Boye Li graduated from the Chinese Classical Dance Performance Department of Beijing Dance Academy and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Studio Centre in London.

    She has performed in numerous national-level cultural galas, including Taoli Cup showcases (China’s most prestigious youth dance platform) and televised dance festival productions. She has also achieved First and Second Place in the Beijing Municipal Dance Competition.

  • Yujia Chen is a dance artist with 17 years of comprehensive training across a wide range of disciplines, including Chinese Classical Dance, Chinese Folk Dance, Ballet, Street Dance, and Contemporary Dance. She holds a BA in Dance Education from Beijing Dance Academy with four years scholarship, and is currently pursuing an MA in Dance Performance at London Contemporary Dance School. Her diverse training informs a movement style that combines strength, control, and fluidity, with strong technical precision and adaptability across different performance contexts.

    During her postgraduate studies, she has participated in numerous performances, including solo and trio dance segments for the Spring Festival Gala. She also took part in the restaging of Akram Khan Company’s repertoire, immersive shows, physical theatre productions, and dance film recordings.

    In terms of teaching, she has accumulated five years of teaching experience starting from her freshman year. She tutors both adults and children, covering courses including classical Chinese dance body rhythm and basic training, dance repertoires, Chinese ethnic dance combinations and repertoires, as well as Chinese dance techniques.
